Dear Collector,
The Young Collectors Club is delighted to invite you to its next event, organised in collaboration with the Young Friends of Museums. Join us on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, at 6:30 PM for an exclusive guided tour of Between Then and Now, the exhibition of South African artist Igshaan Adams, held at Mudam Luxembourg.
The tour will be led by Anaël Daoud, co-curator at Mudam, who will guide us through Adams’ artistic universe, where textile, sculpture and performance come together to explore questions of belonging, resilience and care.
Moving through the exhibition, the curator will guide you across monumental tapestries woven from everyday materials – beads, chains, rope, ribbon – and into the immersive installation created from the artist’s dance prints. She will offer insight into how Adams’ personal memories, shaped by apartheid-era South Africa, inform the emotional and physical landscapes of his work, as well as the healing role of movement and communal making.
After the tour, members will be able to meet and connect on the occasion of Mudam’s Spring Party.
